Genevieve Henriquez, Founder, Owner and Director
Genevieve began her journey as a licensed nail technician with a passion for the craft, but she quickly noticed significant gaps in traditional nail education. Most programs focused solely on passing the state board exam, leaving new professionals unprepared for the complexities of real-world client work, business management, and professional growth.
In 2024, she created Tha Nail Artistry Academy to bridge that gap. Her mission is to provide more than just a certificate; she offers the technical education, business knowledge, and ongoing mentorship she wished she had received early in her own career, preparing students for lasting success in the industry.

How does the hybrid program work?
The program combines approved online theory education with one required on-campus class day each week, plus optional additional instructor support for extra hands-on practice.
How long is the program?
The Texas Manicurist Program is a 4-month, credit-based program combining online theory with hands-on training, covering both technical skills and business development.
What is included in tuition?
Tuition covers instruction, required kit and product materials from our partners Pivot Point and Prosper U Beauty, and access to all academy facilities. Additional professional products purchased after graduation are not included.
How do payment plans work?
We offer three tuition options: pay in full for $9,500, a 4-month plan totaling $9,900, or a 6-month plan totaling $10,300 — each with $900 due at enrollment. We also accept Klarna and Afterpay. Scholarship recipients must pay tuition in full; no payment plan is available with a scholarship.
What happens after the Readiness Assessment?
The assessment helps us understand your goals. After review, the next step is typically scheduling an academy tour.

A tour ensures you understand the student experience and environment before submitting a formal application.
Is the assessment the application?
No, the assessment is a reflection step. The formal application is submitted after you have completed your tour.
Can I work while enrolled?
Yes — with just one required on-campus class day per week, our hybrid format is designed to accommodate working professionals.
